ICCA Finals

The Duke's Men came in 4th place at the ICCA Finals at Lincoln Center. We were so happy to be able to perform with so many other fantastic singers. Congratulations to 1st place winners Fermata Nowhere and all the other groups who competed, it was quite a show!

CARA Award Runner-Up

Ben Wexler's arrangement of Rihanna's "Umbrella" on our album "What a Trip" was honored as the Runner Up for Best Male Collegiate Arrangement in the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARAs) by the Contemporary A Cappella Society. Congratulations Ben!
ICCA Semifinals

The Duke's Men took first place at the ICCA Semifinal round for the Northeast division at MIT! Click here to read a review of the concert. Our first place performance qualified us to compete in the final round in Lincoln Center on April 18th. We're positively thrilled and deeply honored to be representing the Northeast in the International Finals; we hope to see you there!

CARA Shortlist

The Contemporary A Cappella Society has just announced its shortlists for the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARA). We're excited to report that the Duke's Men's latest album, "What A Trip!" is in the top 10 competing for the title of 2009 Best Male Collegiate Album!
ICCA Quarterfinals at BU
02/07/09
The Duke's Men competed and placed first in the Quarterfinal round of the International Competition of Collegiate A Cappella at Boston University. Sam Tsui (DC '11) also received awards for Outstanding Soloist on "What a Good Boy" and Outstanding Choreography on "Umbrella." Our win at BU means that we'll be moving on to the Semi-final round at M.I.T. on March 21st!

Winter Tour 2009

The Duke's Men just got back from a whirlwind tour of sunny Atlanta, Georgia! We saw the sights, we sang our songs, we drank our bodyweight in sweet tea, a good time was had by all. Now it's back to the grindstone as we pick our classes and start the new semester back home at Yale.
